Daniel C. MacMillan, M.D.
Attending Physician,
General Surgery

Dr. MacMillan received his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1985 from the University of Louisville, and his degree in medicine in 1989 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training, including his Internship and Residency in General Surgery, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1996.

Dr. MacMillan is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Clark County Medical Society, Greater Louisville Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, and Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, 1999.

A native of the Louisville area, Dr. MacMillan has been with SASI since July 1996. He and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters.

 

Sandra N. Seneshen, M.D.
Attending Physician,
General Surgery


Dr. Seneshen received her degree in medicine in 1989 from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada. She completed her post graduate internship at Lion’s Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1990, and her residency in General Surgery at Plains Health Centre, Regina, Canada, in 1995.

Dr. Seneshen is certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the Clark County Medical Society, Greater Louisville Medical Society, and the Indiana State Medical Association.

A native of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada, Dr. Seneshen has been with SASI since July 2000. She and her husband, Dr. Michael Eldemire, have two children.
 

Wendell L. Bailey, M.D.
Attending Physician,
General Surgery


Dr. Bailey received his undergraduate degree, with Honors, Biology in 1984 from Hanover College, and his degree in medicine in 1988 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training, including his Internship and Residency in General Surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1993.

Dr. Bailey is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Clark County Medical Society, the Greater Louisville Medical Society, and the Indiana State Medical Association.

A native of Bath County, Kentucky, Dr. Bailey has been with SASI since June 2002. He and his wife, Bridget, have three children.
 

G. Brice Hamilton, M.D.
Attending Physician,
General Surgery


Dr. Hamilton received his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1993 from Transylvania University, and his degree in medicine in 1997 from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training, including his Internship and Residency in General Surgery, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2002.

Dr. Hamilton is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Clark County Medical Society, the Greater Louisville Medical Society, and Indiana State Medical Association.

A native of the Louisville area, Dr. Hamilton has been with SASI since May 2005. He and his wife, Amy, have two children.
 

Gordon L. Gutmann, M.D.
Retired Physician,
General Surgery


Dr. Gutmann founded the practice currently known as Surgical Associates Southern Indiana, PSC., in 1969. He retired from active practice in June 2006, yet continues to have a presence both in the office and at Clark Memorial Hospital, as well as community involvement.

Dr. Gutmann received his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1957 from the University of Louisville, and his degree in medicine in 1961 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training, including his Internship and Residency in General Surgery at the University of Louisville Hospital in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 – 1968, as a General Surgeon.

Dr. Gutmann is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Clark County Medical Society, the Greater Louisville Medical Society, and Indiana State Medical Association.

A native of Louisville, Dr. Gutmann and his wife, Marty, have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. They reside in Jeffersonville.
